Current Projects:

Our most notable current project is the ASCEND (Aerospace STEM Challenges to Educate New Discoverers) project, where we are involved in the full “design-build-fly-operate-analyze” cycle of a space mission. Every semester, we design and build small a payload. We launch our payloads with high altitude weather balloons, and we measure various atmospheric parameters up to about 100,000 feet or 30 km. During our flights, we also capture stunning video and pictures of Earth. Below are links to videos and images captured by our payloads:
